PAT'S PIANO SERVICES

TUNING

Keeping pianos on a regular maintenance schedule is crucial.  Tuning is recommended at least one to two times per year.  The average tuning takes 1.5 - 2 hours.

PLAYER PIANO TUNING

I love these old player pianos even though they can be backbreaking to tune!  I also tune Victorian birdcage pianos and other special instruments like autoharps.

REPAIR

Broken hammers, sticking keys, notes that don't sound--all these are common repairs. Estimates given for any and all repairs before the work is performed.  Minor repairs included in the tuning charge.

KEYTOP RECOVERING

New keycaps not only make the piano playing experience more pleasant, but also the aesthetic effect adds value to your fine instrument

REGULATION

The"fine tune up on the carburetor". A regulation involves several fine adjustments in the action so that each key responds well when struck.

SQUARE GRANDS

The Victorian era instruments are a breed all by themselves.  So named because of its shape, the back breaking challenge is due to the tuning pegs running along the back of the case rather than the front, as in  a modern grand.
